Each matild-y has brought their own quirkyness, voice and style resulting in a happy bunch of souls who not only compliment each energetically and musically but also have an unrivalled collection of dressing up clothes. Matilda are hoping to make you feel warm like what bed does. Matilda has the piano, the clarinet, the saxyphone, the drum set, and the bassguitar. Plus lots of singings. MCB
Formed for the 25th Anniversary of the official opening of the Clubhouse, all band members are members of the club itself. We only intended to do the one show, but got offered 3 more bookings on the first night, so we carried on practising. The band came about when a member of the committee suggested the idea of the anniversary celebrations to Shaggy. A few names were considered, and after one quitting before the first practice, we finally arrived at the present line-up. With varying ages and musical tastes, the band really does cater for most tastes. Our live appearences are rare, but come and see us if you get the chance, hopefully you will not be dissappointed.
